Overview

Stage One is a world-leading manufacturing and engineering company with more than 40 years of experience delivering awe-inspiring projects around the globe.

Fusing design and innovation with technical precision, they bring ambitious creative visions to life — whether that’s kinetic sculptures, architectural installations, or high-profile live events.

While you may not immediately recognise the name, you’ve almost certainly seen their work. Stage One has played a pivotal role in some of the most iconic moments in live entertainment and global events, including the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, Ed Sheeran’s worldwide tour, and the Eurovision Song Contest

Stage One continues to evolve, not just creatively, but operationally and following an internal brand refresh, they identified the need to develop a workwear solution suitable for their business. That’s where Infinity Inc. stepped in.

The Challenge

Stage One’s team is as diverse as their projects. From engineers and fabricators in UK-based workshops to international installation crews, project managers, and office-based teams, the need for consistency, practicality, and brand cohesion was clear.

They were looking for more than just a supplier, they needed a trusted partner who could deliver high-quality products, while also simplifying the ordering process and supporting their internal teams long-term.

Key challenges included:

Job Role Diversity – Workwear needed to suit a wide range of roles, from office environments to technical site work, often involving international travel and working in vastly different climates.

Practical Requirements – Stage One needed garments that not only perform but high-quality PPE for hands-on roles that require specific safety standards.

Brand Consistency – With a fresh new brand direction, it was important that all clothing and accessories reflected Stage One’s identity clearly and consistently across departments and geographies.

Efficiency & Control – They wanted a streamlined order process to avoid manual admin, and provide clear visibility of what was available and who was ordering it.

The Process

We began with a collaborative meeting at Infinity Inc. HQ, where the Stage One team toured our production facility and explored sample options. This gave us the opportunity to understand their needs in detail and showcase how we could support them long-term.

From there, we developed a product range that combined durability, comfort, and brand alignment. We shared branded samples and conducted wearer trials across departments to make sure the range performed in real-world conditions.

Each item was branded using Screen Print Transfers (SPTs) or tax tabs, offering a sleek, consistent finish and ensuring garments held up in workshop, site, and travel environments.

Effortless Ordering

One of the most important aspects of the project was creating a smarter, more efficient way to manage workwear orders. From early discussions, it was clear that Stage One needed a centralised ordering solution that would simplify internal processes, reduce admin, and maintain consistency across teams.

Our LINK online portal was the perfect fit.

Stage One’s dedicated LINK site is a branded, user-friendly webshop where the full approved range lives, complete with product images, sizing guides, and clear descriptions. The portal allows designated team members to log in, view their available garments, and place orders quickly and easily. With fixed pricing and permission settings in place, the system gives Stage One full control over budgets and who can order what, all while maintaining transparency across departments.

The result is a self-serve, scalable ordering solution that removes complexity and delivers a consistent experience every time. And because LINK is fully managed by Infinity Inc., Stage One can focus on what they do best, while we take care of stock, fulfilment, and future product updates. As the company continues to grow, the portal will evolve with them, supporting the rollout of new teams, garments, and merchandise items.

Team feedback

The final outcome was a fully integrated solution that met Stage One’s core requirements and provided a strong foundation for future growth. With the new workwear range launched, the LINK portal operational, and ongoing support from the Infinity Inc. team, Stage One now has a reliable platform for managing branded products.

The range has been developed with Stage One's varied workforce in mind. Staff have responded well to the updated range, and managers have found the ordering process more streamlined.

"We’re really pleased with our new workwear solution. Infinity Inc. took the time to understand our requirements and sourced garments that worked for our teams in our offices, workshops and on site, while also aligning with our brand identity. The all-weather suitability of the clothing has been particularly well received, it’s a practical solution that works in real-world conditions."
